Who I am
I’m a journalist from New Delhi with 10+ years of experience covering the Indian economy, financial markets, and the human stories that emerge from policy decisions. Most recently at Quartz, I reported on everything from clean mobility and gig work to corporate power plays and regional politics and always with a focus on making complex systems readable and relatable.
My reporting is rooted in deep research and shaped by lived insight into the Global South. I’ve broken down budgets and balance sheets, tracked startup booms and banking shifts, and explored how India’s economic choices echo globally. At the same time, I’ve worked with cross-border teams to tell stories that resonate across cultures, including in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
I’m currently open to full-time roles, longform commissions, and cross-country collaborations. Whether it’s a story buried in data or a voice lost in policy, I’m always chasing the detail that changes how we understand the bigger picture.
